Dr. Crooms was born in 1953 in Chatahoochee, Florida, and lived
in Marianna before moving to Tallahassee in 1963. He grew up
in Tallahassee and graduated from Leon High School in 1970.
He attended the University of Florida, where he obtained a
Bachelor of Arts in German; Florida State University where he
obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology; and the University
of Miami, where he graduated from the School of Medicine in
1979. He served in the United States Navy until July of 1988,
leaving the service as a Commander. He returned to Tallahassee
with his wife Colet, and three children, and established his
surgical practice.
Dr. Crooms formed Tallahassee Surgical Associates in 1992.
His special interests in surgery include laparscopic surgery,
pediatric surgery, cancer surgery, trauma and bariatric (weight
loss) surgery. He is a member of various professional medical
and surgical societies and has published and presented numerous
papers on general and laparoscopic surgery.

Eliot
B. Sieloff, MD

Dr. Sieloff was born in Dearborn Michigan in 1960. He grew
up in Bellvue, Ohio, where his mother taught school and his
father worked for General Motors. During high school, he was
active in athletics, including tennis and cross-country. He
attended the University of Cincinatti and graduated in 1983
with degrees in chemistry and biochemistry. He also wnnt to
medical school at the University of Cincinati and graduating
in 1987. He began his surgical training in 1987 in Charleston,
South Carolina, where he met his wife Heidi. They were married
in 1991. He completed his training in Charleston in 1992 and
began practicing in Tallahassee in July of that same year. He
has 2 children.
Dr. Sieloff sepcial interests include Bariatric (weight loss)
surgery, pediatric, and laparoscopic surgery. He is currently
Board Certified in General Surgery.

Tim
F. Ruark, Jr., M.D.
F.A.C.S.
Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery
Dr. Ruark, born in Athens Georgia in 1963, was raised and attended
high school in Lawrenceville, Georiga. He attended the Citadel
on a four-year football scholarship and received his medical
degree after four years at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr.
Ruark completed five years of surgical residence at University
Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
He joins TSA with experience in laparoscopic, cancer, pediatric,
breast, and trauma surgery. Dr. Ruark's wife Lisa is a local
artist. They have three children.
